A rollover crash involving a single-vehicle caused injuries to 1 person on Highway 4 at Sand Creek.
Just before 12:30 am Monday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District actively responded to reports of a rollover accident at Highway 4 near Sand Creek in Brentwood. The force of the crash threw the driver from the vehicle. According to the reports, the victim sustained a possible broken leg and head wounds.
An eyewitness informed that the driver sped up into the off-ramp at Sand Creek, lost control of the vehicle and flipped over multiple times. On arrival, the driver was flown to a local hospital by the emergency crews. No other details are immediately available regarding the accident.
CHP is looking into the crash.
