A single-vehicle crash kills the driver and injures another on Bothell Way (Bothell, WA)

On Sunday, at around 5:34 p.m., a single-vehicle crash killed the driver and seriously injured a passenger at the 6100 block of NE Bothell Way.

On arrival, firefighters found out that a single vehicle had swerved off the south side of NE Bothell Way and got entangled in a guard rail, trees, and bushes. The driver and passenger were both pinned inside the vehicle and had to be removed.

Northshore Fire worked with units from Shoreline, Bothell and Redmond fire departments to extricate both victims. The passenger suffered serious bodily injuries and the driver was later declared dead at Harborview Medical Center, as per a department press release.

An investigation is continuing.
