Two people in their 20s died in a single-vehicle accident in Pierce County on Saturday.
The incident took place in the Artondale area near Gig Harbor, at 83rd Avenue NW and 40th Street NW. As per reports, the vehicle lost balance and struck a guide line for a telephone pole. The car then hit two trees and came to rest 10 feet down an embankment. Officials did not provide any further information regarding the deadly collision.
An investigation is continuing.
