On Monday, a man who may have suffered a sudden medical episode died following a single-vehicle accident in Fullerton.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place at 1:42 p.m. on Euclid and Baker Streets. The early reports showed that a man was driving south on Euclid when he failed to maintain control of his SUV, swerved over the center median and northbound lanes before smashing into a tree.
On arrival, medics rushed the man to UC Irvine Medical Center, where he was later declared dead. According to the officials, the driver might have experienced a medical emergency episode before losing control of the car. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
