On Sunday, a single-vehicle crash caused injuries to four Clark County residents in Cowlitz County.
As per reports, an SUV went off road after driver suffered a medical emergency, State Patrol mentioned. A Vancouver man and three La Center residents received injuries in a single-car crash off Interstate 5 in Cowlitz County, as per the Washington State Patrol.
The incident happened at 5:34 p.m. when Jordan J Green, 33, began to have a medical emergency while steering his 2018 GMC Yukon south on Interstate 5 at Exit 46, according to a State Patrol statement.
The report revealed that Green’s SUV went through a stop sign at the top of the ramp and onto the southbound onramp to Interstate 5 before veering off the right side of the road and flipping over multiple times before going airborne and landing upside-down on a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup and 1984 Hale horse trailer parked at 4930 Pleasant Hill Road.
On arrival, emergency crew airlifted Green to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. His three passengers, Dianne M Boles, 57, of La Center, Breanna L Watson, 28, of La Center and Emerson Green, 5 months, of La Center were taken to St. Johns Medical Center in Longview. Drugs or alcohol are not believed to have contributed to the crash. All occupants of the Yukon were wearing seat belts at the time of crash, the State Patrol said.
An investigation is ongoing at this time.
