On Friday, two people lost their lives following a solo-vehicle crash near Whitewater.
As per the initial information, the fatal incident took place at about 4:55 p.m. just west of State Route 62. The preliminary investigation showed that the involved vehicle crashed off the side of eastbound Interstate 10 near Whitewater.
Two people died of their injuries at the crash scene, authorities said. The officials will release the identities of the deceased after notifying the next of kin. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are immediately available.
