On Wednesday morning, a man received injuries following a traffic collision in Medical Lake.
The single-vehicle accident took place on W. Medical Lakes Four Lakes Road. The early reports showed that the driver was traveling south when he failed to maintain control of his vehicle and struck an embankment. The man is not believed to have been under the influence at that time.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The man was transported to the hospital with critical injuries. The road was shut down between W. Taylor Road and S. Granite Lake Road. W. Silver Lake Rd was also blocked from W. Medical Lake Four Lakes Road to S. Murphy Road. No other details are available.
The crash remains under investigation.
