A single-car crash led to minor injuries on Lawrence Road (Everson, WA)

On Tuesday, one person received minimal injuries following a single-vehicle accident on Lawrence Road.

First responders were sent to Lawrence Road north of the intersection of E Hoff Road at about 2:15 p.m. after getting reports of a car versus pole crash that caused the pole and lines to come down onto the road. As per the preliminary investigation, the crash caused minor injuries. Officials shut down the northbound lane of the Lawrence road SR-9.

Downed lines were considered not to be power, but communication lines. As of 3:30pm, it seemed that the lane would remain closed until 5:30pm or later. Authorities asked the motorists to expect delays in the area. The roads reopened for all traffic at 6:40 p.m., WSP informed.

The cause of the collision remains under review.
