On Sunday morning, a woman lost her life after a single-car crash on Interstate 5 in San Diego.
As per the initial information, the fatal incident was reported at about 4:20 a.m. on the northbound side of the freeway, close to Balboa Avenue, in the Bay Park area. The vehicle involved in the collision was described as a white Honda Civic.
The preliminary reports suggested that the woman was found outside of her vehicle and unconscious, but it is unknown if she was ejected from the vehicle or she attempted to get out after the accident. The events that have led up to the crash remain unknown at this time.
An investigation is ongoing.
