On Monday afternoon, a serious traffic crash involving two vehicles caused injuries to two people in Denham Springs, as per a representative from the Denham Springs Police Department.
According to police, it was around noon when one vehicle was heading westbound on Florida Boulevard and then crossed into the eastbound lane of traffic. At that moment, authorities mentioned that the vehicle T-boned a second automobile that had paused for a stop sign on Walnut Street. The impact of the crash caused both vehicles to roll over.
AirMed was requested to rush both drivers to a medical facility for their injuries. As of Tuesday morning, at least one driver is still hospitalized. Police have not issued any citations at this time.
The crash remains under active investigation.
