A rollover crash on Santa Monica Freeway kills one person (Santa Monica, CA)

On Sunday, one person died after a rollover crash on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway.

As per the initial information, the fatal incident took place at around 7:05 a.m. on the eastbound freeway at the Crenshaw Boulevard off-ramp. The events leading up to the crash remain under investigation. It is also unclear if the collision caused any injuries.

A Sig Alert was announced at 7:25 a.m. blocking the eastbound freeway at Crenshaw Boulevard for at least one hour. A representative from the Los Angeles County coroner’s office was called to the scene at 7:35 a.m. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
