On late Monday night, two 18-wheelers crashed into each other and caused the roads to be shut down in West El Paso.
Officials blocked Interstate 10 East in West El Paso on Tuesday morning after the collision involving two semi-trucks. As per reports, the closure was on the eastbound lanes of I-10 near Sunland Park Drive. The highway was reopened at around 1 p.m. after tow trucks removed the overturned tractor-trailer.
The incident took place when two 18-wheelers collided with each other. One of the trucks flipped over as a result of which the driver was pinned inside. The current condition of the driver is not immediately available.
An investigation is underway at this time.
