On Saturday evening, one person was sent to the hospital in serious condition after a rollover accident in Tukwila.
As per the initial information, fire medics and law enforcement responded to the scene after reports that a vehicle had flipped over. The preliminary reports showed that the driver, who was the sole occupant, had to be freed the car. The driver was rushed to the hospital by the emergency responders in serious condition.
Reports further said that the driver was driving erratically before the accident and was suspected of driving under the influence. The crash also caused traffic congestion that stretched for several miles. Later, all lanes of southbound Interstate 5 at Interurban Avenue South in Tukwila were opened again for traffic.
An investigation is ongoing.
