On Monday afternoon, a woman lost her life after getting struck by a pickup truck in Puyallup.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian accident took place on State Route 167. The preliminary investigation showed that a pickup truck was traveling north when a pedestrian walked in front of the truck and got hit by the vehicle.
The 21-year-old female pedestrian suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officials. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
