Drivers escaped serious injuries after a two-vehicle collision on Dallas Street.
Officers actively responded to the crash scene just after 5:00 p.m. in the 2000 block of Dallas Street after getting news of a two vehicle accident. According to officers, a GMC pickup was heading west on Dallas Street when it hit a Ram pickup at the intersection.
Police mentioned that the driver of the Ram was traveling north on Howard Street and ran the red light that caused the crash. No one suffered serious injuries or taken to the hospital as a result of the accident. The driver of the Ram was issued a citation for disregarding a red light.
The incident remains under active review.
