A Pedestrian Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Fort Worth (Fort Worth, TX)

The Fort Worth Police Department reported a  motor vehicle crash on Monday late at night. Police were called to the collision at McCart Avenue and West Risinger Road shortly after 11 p.m.

A pedestrian was crossing McCart Avenue and Garden Springs Drive in the south. When a car travelling south on McCart struck her, she was crossing the street to the east.

At the scene, the victim was pronounced dead. Her name and identity have not been disclosed yet.

The suspect driver initially left the scene before returning to speak with officers. That driver wasn’t detained, though.

Investigators are still looking into the fatal crash. There is currently no other information available.
