A multi-vehicle pile-up on I-65 N in Sumner County caused injuries.

As per the initial information, the incident took place on I-65 N, close to mile-marker 100 in Sumner County in which three vehicles were involved. The preliminary reports showed that two people sustained critical injuries while others are being treated for non-fatal injuries.

However, it is still unconfirmed how many people in total were injured. Troopers quickly responded to the scene and also asked for the Critical Incident Response Team to assist as they investigate. The early reports also suggested that alcohol might have played a part in this crash. The interstate remains blocked at this time for investigation.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
