On Wednesday, one person was killed after a multi-vehicle accident on 5 Freeway.
As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area of Paramount Boulevard at around 12:31 a.m. after getting reports of a crash. On arrival, emergency responders declared one person deceased.
At this time, it is unknown how many vehicles in total were involved in the accident and no details have been provided regarding those vehicles. Authorities will release the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain unclear at this time.
