On Sunday, a three vehicle wreck caused injuries to several people on Sofie Road.
The incident took place, east of Monroe, in which three vehicles were involved. The investigation of the crash revealed that a 2017 Toyota Camry, driven by an 86-year-old Snohomish man, went onto a highway in front of traffic after making a left turn from Sofie Road.
At the same moment, a 1996 Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by a 72-year-old Sultan man, collided with the Sedan, and went into eastbound traffic, where it crashed head-on into a 2008 Honda Odyssey minivan. As per the reports, there were six people in the minivan, including a 14-year-old from Shoreline who was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The Snohomish man and his passenger received first aid at the scene, while the Sultan man and his passenger were taken to EvergreenHealth Monroe. Authorities further stated that four people in the Odyssey, ranging in age between 8 and 48, were transported to the Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. The identities of the victims remain undisclosed. No further details have been released by the authorities.
The investigation of the crash is ongoing.
