Several people suffered injuries following a multi-vehicle accident and police arrested 27-year-old Mariana Ramirez of Dinuba on East Shaw Avenue on Saturday.
Officials got the news of the incident at around 1:38 p.m. at the intersection of Sunnyside Avenue, which involved six cars. As per reports, multiple people were injured as a result of the crash, but only one was transported to the hospital, the rest complained of pain and were provided medical aid on the spot.
Authorities said that the movements of Ramirez’s car caused the accident. Officers processed her at the Clovis Police Department on suspicion of DUI with injury and booked her into Fresno County Jail. Clovis police said crews towed five of the six vehicles involved in the accident at this time.
An investigation is underway.
