On Wednesday morning, authorities were investigating a multi-vehicle pile-up in northwest Austin.
As per the initial information, the incident took place at about 8:34 a.m. on North US 183 Highway in the northbound lanes, close to Lake Creek Parkway and Research Boulevard. The preliminary investigation revealed that at approximately 9:30 a.m., the far right lane was shut down as medical personnel attended to any possible injured victims at the scene.
All lanes are reportedly back open now. It is unknown at this time how many vehicles were involved in the collision. The circumstances that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are immediately available.
