On Saturday evening, four people were left in hospital following a wreck in west Phoenix.

As per the initial information, the Phoenix Fire Department was sent to the area of 79th Drive and Indian School Road for reports of a multi-vehicle pile-up. The preliminary reports showed that fire personnel evaluated four patients on arrival.

Two men were rushed to the hospital with critical injuries, and two women were hospitalized with non-fatal injuries. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time. Authorities have not released any further information in connection with the accident.

The wreck remains under active review.
