On late Monday night, a 34-year-old woman lost her life following a multi-vehicle accident near Lynnwood.
As per the initial information, three cars were involved in the wreck. The preliminary investigation revealed that two 18-year-olds were driving cars westbound on 164th Street Southwest at about 10:30 p.m. when one of the cars T-boned the victim’s vehicle at the intersection of 25th Avenue West. On arrival, authorities declared the woman deceased.
An 18-year-old woman who was driving one of the other cars and a 17-year-old girl were transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with minimal injuries. The 18-year-old man driving the third car stayed at the scene after the accident.
Detectives with the sheriff’s office are still trying to find out the cause of the wreck. They believe that speed may have played a part in the 3-car accident. The road was blocked for several hours during the investigation.
An investigation is ongoing at this time.
