On Wednesday, a multi-vehicle pile-up involving a white Tesla killed one person on 210 Freeway at around 2:35 a.m. near Citrus Avenue.
Reports revealed that the crash involved a big rig that flipped over and spilled its payload of sand into westbound lanes. On arrival, officials declared the victim whose identity was not released yet, deceased on the spot. CHP initially shut down all westbound lanes but reopened one of them to slowed traffic.
An investigation is underway.
