On Saturday afternoon, one child suffered major injuries following a multi-vehicle pile-up at a busy Memphis intersection.
As per the initial information, the incident took place at about 4 p.m. at Overton Crossing Street and Frayser Boulevard in which at least five vehicles were involved. The preliminary investigation showed that emergency crews transported one child to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in serious condition.
No other injuries were reported. The events that have led up to the accident remain unclear at this time. As of now, officials have not provided any descriptions of the vehicles that were involved in the wreck.
The crash remains under investigation.
