On early Sunday morning, three people suffered injuries following a multi-vehicle pile-up in south Phoenix.
Officers actively responded to the crash scene moments before 2 a.m. at 7th Avenue and Broadway Road. On arrival, firefighters had to free one person from a vehicle. Emergency crews transported three people to a local hospital.
Officials reported that a 30-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man were listed in serious condition while a third person, a 50-year-old woman, was in stable condition. Officers have not released any further details regarding the accident at this time.
The authorities will continue to investigate the cause that led to the wreck.
