On Saturday afternoon, a person was injured following a motorcycle accident on Palmdale Road near San Martin Road.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place on Palmdale Road near San Martin Road at about 5:08 p.m. The preliminary reports suggested that a black motorcycle and a white pickup truck hauling a small U-haul box trailer crashed for unknown reasons.
On arrival, emergency crews airlifted the bike rider to a hospital via helicopter. Officials closed Palmdale Road between Amethyst and El Evado Roads to give way to the responding helicopter. No other details are immediately available regarding the accident.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
