On Saturday afternoon, injuries were reported after a traffic accident involving a motorcycle on Bay Bridge.
As per the initial information, the incident happened on westbound I-80, east of Treasure Island. The preliminary investigation revealed that the accident led to injuries, but the extent of injuries sustained by the victims remains unknown.
Reports further showed that a man was seen lying in the middle lane. It is unknown at this time if the other vehicle involved in the accident stopped or escaped from the scene. The center and right lanes were shut down, but the roads reopened at about 4:40 p.m.
The crash remains under active review.
