On Saturday, a 24-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident near I-10 and I-610.
According to New Orleans Police Department, the fatal motorcycle incident took place at about 9:30 a.m. on Interstate 610. Reports revealed that a motorcyclist was traveling on I-610 when he hit the guardrail for unknown reasons and landed onto I-10 East.
On arrival, paramedics rushed the victim to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The identity of the deceased has not been revealed at this time. As of now, the cause of the crash remains unknown.
The authorities will continue to investigate the accident.
