A motorcycle collision claimed life of one man on I-80 in Sparks at around 3:30 a.m. on early Monday morning.
According to NHP, a motorcyclist was going westbound on I-80 near Prater Way when he struck the median. Authorities reported that speed is one of the factors that led to the deadly crash while impairment did not seem to have played a role. Officials shut down all lanes on westbound I-80 at Prater Way for several hours.
An investigation is underway.
