The Manteca Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Monday morning. The accident happened on West Yosemite Avenue close to Fishback Road at around 9 a.m.
They claim that a woman was trying to turn her SUV onto Fishback while a man was travelling east on a motorbike on the same road. The SUV and the motorcycle collided.
The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed at this time.
Although DUI was not a factor in the collision, according to the police, preliminary evidence suggests speed may have been. The fatal crash is still being investigated by the officials. No other details are available currently.
