Tyler police and firefighters responded to the intersection of North Broadway Avenue and East Gentry Parkway after getting reports of a traffic accident.
The early reports showed that one of the vehicles involved flipped over and took down a signal light. The signal light at that intersection is now flashing red, and City of Tyler employees are rushing to the scene to repair the signal light.
As of now, it is unknown how many people received injuries as a result of the collision. Authorities asked drivers to exercise caution and expect delays while traveling that part. If possible, find alternate routes until the scene is cleared. No other details are available.
An investigation is underway.
