On Monday morning, northbound Interstate 5 north of Woodland was shut down for approximately an hour due to a jackknifed semi.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place a little after 7 a.m. in which a tractor-trailer rig was involved. It is unknown if anyone suffered injuries in the crash. The incident resulted in the closure of all lanes of the freeway near Dike Access Road as crews worked at the scene.
The crash site was cleared at around 8 a.m. Traffic on the freeway traveling out of Clark County was congested due to the accident. Officials asked the drivers to expect slow traffic and delays in the area. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation is underway.
