On Sunday afternoon, a man was injured after getting struck by a vehicle in Indio.
As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash took place at around 4:00 p.m. on Rubidoux Street and Highway 111. The preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle hit a male pedestrian in the parking lot near Little Caesar’s Pizza and the Arco AM/PM gas station.
On arrival, responders found an adult male down in the parking lot of the restaurant. Emergency crews transported the man to a local hospital with major injuries. The officers are looking for the hit-and-run driver. No other details are made available.
