A 20-year-old had a broken leg following a hit-and-run accident on Monday, January 18th in Lakewood.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the unnamed victim was going on State Route 512 when the driver in front of him put on the brakes abruptly. The 20-year-old moved over a lane, but the braking driver also went into that lane, plowing into the Honda. The jolt of the collision threw the Honda off the right end of SR-512.
The driver of the vehicle that hit the Honda escaped the scene. The WSP is actively searching for the hit-and-driver and claims the suspect was steering a silver pickup truck.
