A hit-and-run accident killed a pedestrian in Federal Way (Federal Way, WA)

On Wednesday night, a pedestrian was killed following a hit-and-run accident in Federal Way.

As per the initial information, the fatal pedestrian crash took place in the 2500 block of South 288th Street. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this. No details have been provided regarding the suspect and the hit-and-run vehicle.

Authorities closed down the street while crews worked at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified.

The crash remains under active review.
