A motorcyclist died following a hit-and-run crash Monday afternoon on the city’s West Side.
As per the San Antonio police, a motorcyclist was going south in the 1700 block of South General McMullen when a black SUV collided with the bike. The motorcycle kept sliding for about 100 yards due to the crash before coming to rest. On arrival, medics rushed the driver to a hospital, but police reported that the crash was a fatality. The driver of the SUV took a turn and escaped from the scene, police said.
The crash is under investigation.
