A hit-and-run accident injured a pedestrian on State Route 9 near 256th Street (Arlington, WA)

On Tuesday evening, a hit-and-run crash left a pedestrian in serious condition on State Route 9 near 256th Street.

As per WSP Trooper Rocky Oliphant, the incident occurred on State Route 9 near 256th Street north of Arlington. On arrival, first responders rushed the victim to a hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities said that there is no description of the hit-and-run vehicle available at this point, but they said that it might have significant front-end damage. Officers urge anyone with information about the accident to contact and inform their local law enforcement agency.

An investigation is underway.
