On Wednesday, injuries were reported after a high speed crash on Interstate 8 and Mountain Springs Road.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle collision took place on Interstate 8 at Mountain Springs Road in which a tractor trailer and another vehicle were involved. According to the preliminary reports, US Border Patrol agents followed a speeding vehicle.
Just then, the vehicle moving at a high rate of speed crashed into a tractor/trailer rig, officers stated. Authorities mentioned that the accident led to injuries, but it is unknown how many victims were involved in the crash. No other details are available.
The authorities will continue to investigate the accident.
