On Monday morning, injuries were reported following a head-on crash on State Route 160.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at about 12:53 a.m. on State Route 160, just south of the bridge and north of the Wilbur Avenue on-ramp. Officials confirmed that the incident led to serious injuries; however, it is unknown how many victims in total were involved in the collision.
Authorities shut down all northbound lanes of State Route 160 as crews worked at the scene. The events that have led up to the accident also remain unclear at this time. No additional information has been provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
