One person was killed following a head-on collision Saturday evening on Highway 33.
As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle crash took place at around 5 p.m. on Highway 33, just north of Lerdo Highway. The preliminary reports showed that a black Toyota pickup truck and a black four-door sedan were involved in the accident.
It is unknown if the incident caused any other injuries. The events that have led up to the accident remain unclear at this time. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. Authorities have not provided any other details regarding the wreck.
