On Wednesday, a fiery traffic accident north of Santa Clarita which spread to the brush was quickly put out by the emergency crews.
At about 12 p.m. Wednesday, first responders got information of a traffic collision involving fire on the northbound 14 Freeway in Agua Dulce that spread to the brush, stated Franklin Lopez, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. “A fully involved vehicle fire has spread to the brush,” Lopez mentioned. Crews on scene managed to quickly put out the brush fire, according to officials.
Authorities asked the motorists to expect delays in the area as crews work to extinguish the vehicle fire and render aid to the patient, according to Fire officials. It is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the accident and how many people were injured.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
