On early Sunday morning, one person suffered major injuries after a fiery crash in Everett.
As per the initial information, the incident took place in front of Emory’s Bistro & Bar on 19th Avenue S.E. at Silver Lake in Everett. The preliminary investigation indicated that a truck was traveling southbound just before 3 AM when it crashed through a guardrail and into the Emory’s Restaurant sign.
The impact caused the truck to catch fire. On arrival, firefighters had to fight through smoke to rescue the driver and get him to a safe place to be treated by the emergency crews. The driver was the sole occupant of the truck and was rushed to Providence Regional Medical Center with critical injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
