A female driver hospitalized after slamming her motorcycle into a building (Oakley, CA)

On Sunday, a woman driver was left in a hospital after crashing her motorcycle into a building.

At 11:26 am, the Oakley Police Department and Contra Costa County Fire immediately responded to the scene on reports of a motorcycle accident inside the Carol Lane Apartment complex in the City of Oakley. As per police, the female driver was involved in test driving a Can-Am Spyder when she lost control, rammed into the building and sheared a hydrant for the building (sprinkler system). Oakley water was on their way to the crash scene.

On arrival, first responders took the female, who was alert and conscious, to a local hospital as a precaution. Authorities have not provided any other details regarding the crash and the identity of the injured woman remains undisclosed.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
