A fatality was reported following a traffic collision Wednesday on Interstate 10 in West Phoenix.
As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the area of I-10 and 75th Avenue after getting reports of a two-vehicle crash at around 9 a.m. Wednesday. Officials confirmed that at least one person was killed as a result of the accident. It is unknown if anyone else was injured in the wreck.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time. The westbound lanes were closed down for several hours during an investigation, but have since reopened. No other details are available.
