On Wednesday, one person died in a fatal crash involving a vehicle, authorities said.
Officers quickly responded shortly after 12:15 p.m. to a reported traffic collision on Crow Canyon Road near Bollinger Canyon Road, as per police social-media posts. On arrival, they found at least one person pinned inside a vehicle and declared that person deceased at the scene.
Police were rerouting eastbound Crow Canyon Road traffic at Norris Canyon Road and westbound Crow Canyon traffic at Porter Road. Southbound and northbound traffic along Bollinger Canyon Road was closed down respectively at Deerwood and Creekside drives.
Investigators with the department’s traffic division were on scene, but did not share their initial investigation findings regarding the crash.
An investigation is continuing.
