On Saturday morning, a fatal accident involving two vehicles led to major traffic delays on Interstate 40 near Kingman as well.
Later on, U.S. 93 was opened again in both directions near Wickenburg after a two-vehicle collision on Saturday morning. Arizona Department of Public Safety officials stated that troopers actively responded to a fatal two-vehicle crash at about 6:30 a.m. near Wickenburg.
Southbound traffic was closed down at the I-40 Junction and northbound traffic was blocked at the SR-71 junction. The roadways opened again for traffic at around 3:30 in the afternoon. Authorities have not released any additional details regarding the accident.
An investigation is ongoing at this time.
