A fatal pedestrian crash killed a boy on Sylvan Way near Highway 243 (Riverside County, CA)

A boy lost his life following a fatal auto-pedestrian crash on Sylvan Way near Highway 243 in Riverside County on Sunday noon.

As per the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle fatally hit the boy at about 2:50 p.m. The incident occurred in the 52500 block of Sylvan Way, west of Highway 243 and north of Mountain Center. On arrival, responding paramedics conducted life-saving measures while waiting for a helicopter to shift the victim.

Moments later, authorities called Riverside County Coroner’s Office to the scene. Furthermore, the authorities did not reveal any information regarding the accident, the age, and the name of the victim.

The crash is under review.
