A traffic accident on Arthur Ray Teague Parkway led to the closure of northbound lanes.
According to the Bossier City Police, the incident took place on Arthur Ray Teague Parkway northbound, just north of McDade Street. Northbound traffic was being rerouted to McDade Street and can then use Barksdale Boulevard or Airline Drive, officials mentioned.
The road is likely to stay blocked for some time as responders work to investigate the cause of the crash. The southbound lanes of Arthur Ray Teague Parkway are opened again. It is unknown at this time how many vehicles were involved in the crash.
An investigation is underway.
