A crash involving a school bus reported near White House (White House, TN)

On Thursday afternoon, a Sumner County school bus was involved in an accident near White House.

As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place on Tyree Springs Road. The preliminary investigation showed that the bus was carrying middle and high school students at the time of the accident. According to the officials, there were 22 students on board the bus at that time.

The students were evaluated by emergency responders at the scene and have been released. Parents were contacted to pick up their child at H.B. Williams Elementary School. Tyree Springs Road south of White House was temporarily closed as a crews worked at the scene. No other details are made available.

The crash remains under investigation.
